Cheap junk removal in San Francisco: every price published, nothing added on the day

A sofa is $126. A half truck is $431. The smallest booking is $95. Every San Francisco figure is published before you book, disposal is already inside it, and there is no surcharge for stairs, hills, carry distance or same-day — so the number we text you is the number you pay.

The short version

Every price we charge in San Francisco is published, including the one you are about to pay. A sofa is $126. A queen mattress with its box spring is $143 for the set. A quarter-truck share is $241 with disposal inside it. The smallest booking we write is $95. Nothing gets added to any of those figures on the day.

The price you are quoted is the price you pay

We agree a flat figure before the truck sets off, from your description. No doorstep renegotiation, no revised total once the sofa is already on the pavement, no "let us take a look first" before anyone will commit to a number. Describe the load accurately and the figure you were sent is the figure you are charged.

Six things that never get added to your total

Stairs. Floor level. How far the truck has to park from your door. Which hill you live on. Which neighbourhood you are in. Booking today rather than next week. All six are set to zero in our pricing, so a fourth-floor Nob Hill walk-up pays exactly what the same load pays from a ground-floor garage in the Outer Sunset.

Disposal is already in the number

There is no separate tip fee, fuel line, environmental charge or recycling surcharge waiting at the end. Whatever leaves your address has to go somewhere, and getting it there is priced into every figure on this page before you ever see it.

Truck shares buy the most space per dollar

Once a job is bigger than a handful of pieces, you stop paying per object and start paying for room on the truck. Pick the smallest share that holds what is going.

Bags and small loads have their own prices

A single bag is $35 and a contractor bag is $41. Ten bags together are $132, fifteen are $196, twenty are $259. A small loose pile is $82 for a cubic yard, a medium is $129 for two, a large is $208 for four. Construction debris is $120 a cubic yard and yard waste is $88.

A packed storage room prices as a room

A 5×5 unit is $205, a 5×10 is $360, a 10×10 is $531 and a 10×15 is $799 — cleared out, swept and closed in one visit. Our storage cleanout guide works through what each size actually holds.

The $95 minimum, and how to make it work hardest

$95 is the smallest booking we write in San Francisco. That is the floor for one microwave and it is also the floor for one microwave plus the bookshelf, the old office chair and three bags from the hall cupboard. If you are already sending a truck, load it. Every extra piece you add under the floor rides along for nothing.

One visit costs less than two

The minimum applies per booking. Clearing the bedroom now and the garage next month means paying the floor twice. Doing both on the same visit means paying it once, and it takes the crew about the same amount of time.

Condition never changes the price

Broken, stained, cracked, mouldy or twenty years out of style costs exactly what pristine costs. We price the space something takes on the truck, never its resale value, so there is nothing to apologise for and nothing to clean up before we arrive.

Same-day and next-day are the same price

Booking for this afternoon costs what booking for next Thursday costs. There is no rush fee, no premium slot and no weekend rate. Same-day and next-day slots in San Francisco are routine, not an emergency service with an emergency price.

A quote takes about a minute

Type what is going in plain English — "queen mattress, box spring, two nightstands, four bags" — and a flat figure comes back. No site visit, no surveyor, no waiting for a callback window. Photos are welcome but optional.

One TV, 50-inch$95 (the minimum)

What every booking includes

The crew, the loading, the carrying, the truck, the disposal, and the sweep-up afterwards. Insured haulers. A crew that is happy to work in Spanish. A text when they are on the way, and a receipt when the job is done. There is nothing to hand over on the day beyond the payment you already agreed.

You are on the fourth floor with no lift

Same price as the ground floor. Stairs and carry distance are zero in our pricing.

You need it gone today

Same price as next week. Say so when you book and we will find you a slot.

You want the figure in writing first

That is how every JunkRabbit quote arrives. Flat, fixed, and agreed before anyone sets off.

You are pricing a whole move-out

Our apartment cleanout page has the full-flat numbers.

Frequently asked questions

How much is junk removal in San Francisco?

Single items are published to the dollar: a sofa is $126, a queen mattress and box spring together are $143, a fridge is $164, a 50-inch TV is $68. Bigger loads price by truck share, from $241 for a quarter truck to $732 for a full one. The smallest booking is $95 and disposal is inside every figure. Describe your load and you will have the exact number in about a minute.

What is the cheapest way to get junk removed in sf?

Put everything into one visit. The $95 minimum applies per booking, so one item costs $95 and one item plus six more still starts there. After that, a truck share is the best value per cubic yard: $431 buys eight cubic yards with disposal included. Add the garage to the bedroom job and you pay one flat price instead of two.

Is there a minimum charge for junk removal in San Francisco?

Yes, $95, and it covers a lot more than one thing. A countertop microwave lists at $30 and still books at $95, so the smart move is to fill the visit: bags, an old office chair, the bookshelf nobody wants. Everything you add under the floor rides along at no extra cost. Book once and send it all at the same time.

Do you charge extra for stairs in San Francisco?

No. Stairs, floor level, walk-up buildings, hills, how far the truck has to park, which neighbourhood you are in and same-day booking are all set to zero in our pricing. A fourth-floor Nob Hill flat pays exactly what a ground-floor Sunset garage pays for the same load. It is one of the easiest ways to make sure the quote and the final bill match.

Is disposal included in the price?

It is, in every figure we publish. There is no tip fee, fuel line, environmental charge or recycling surcharge added afterwards. The flat price covers the crew, the loading, the carrying, the truck, responsible disposal and the sweep-up. You agree the number before we set off and that is what you are charged.

How fast can you come out in San Francisco?

Same-day and next-day slots are routine across San Francisco, and they cost exactly what a booking a week out costs. There is no rush fee or weekend rate. Tell us what is going, pick the slot that suits you, and the crew texts when they are on the way. Most jobs are done in a single visit.
